D’fhreastail Clann Mhic Reachtain ar an tríú Ealgais Preispitéireach sa sráid seo. Le himeacht ama cuireadh Eaglais Killburn ar an eaglais. Ba Óglach é an tAthair Sinclaire Kilbourne i nÓglaigh Bhéal Feirste. Ba eaglais ar leith í, mhol an eaglais nósanna cosúil le freagracht shóisialta, saoirse polaitiúil agus caoinfhulaingt reiligiúnach. Bhí tionchar nach beag ag eaglais Kilburn ar cuir chuige Anraí Seoigh agus Máire Áine Mhic Reachtain, agus neart daoine eile a chríochnaigh isteach sna nÉireannaigh Aontaithe.

The McCrackens attended the Third Presbyterian church on this street. This Church eventually became known as ‘Kilburn’s Church’ after the Rev. Sinclaire Kelbourne. Kilbourne who was also a Volunteer in the Belfast Volunteer’s preached a message of social responsibility, political freedom and religious tolerance. These messages heavily influenced Henry Joy and Mary Ann McCracken, and others who ended up playing a role in the United Irishmen.
